Picture a lazy river, warm breezes and a total release of all your cares! This is an afternoon with ROW Adventures on the lower Spokane. There is a peaceful five mile section of river with gentle flows that run all summer long. Take your choice of riding in a raft, or paddling a sit-on-top kayak. We glide by willows, aspen and alder and watch birds overhead, jump in for a swim and escape into another world in the Spokane River.

Activity: Gentle Float Time of Year: July - August Time: Meeting Place: ROW Adventure Center Spokane (17 West Main) Optional Pick-up: Davenport Hotel and Red Lion (on the north side of the river) Length of Trip: 4 hours Group Sizes: 2-42 people Minimum Age: 4 Put-In: Water St. put-in at Peaceful Valley (below Spokane Falls) Take-Out: TJ Menach Bridge (near Spokane Falls Community College or VA Hospital) What to Bring: Sunscreen Sunglasses with retaining head strap - such as "Chums" Nylon shorts or swimsuit Tennis shoes or sport sandals with straps (No flip flops) Personal water bottle (optional) Waterproof camera (optional) Towel for the end of the day (optional) Polypropylene long underwear or non-cotton base layer for under shorts on cold days. We will provide you with a rainsuit (jacket and pants) for inclement weather.  Sizes are limited so feel free to bring your own. Where to Park: There is a Diamond parking lot within one block of our location.  You'll need to have a few dollar bills or change in order to park here.  There is also a lot on Main Street eas of Division.  The closest public restroom is in the Community Building, which is next to the Diamond lot.
