Lake Coeur d'Alene is a paddler's paradise. Fed by the Wild & Scenic St. Joe River, Coeur d’Alene and St. Maries rivers, the lake is roughly 25 miles long and, with many bays, boasts over 109 miles of shoreline. Join us on a half –day kayak tour over crystal clear waters along shores of pine, fir and cedar. We take you to one of the many bays, some quite close to town and others a bit further away.

As you paddle, learn about the Native peoples of the area, early pioneer history, the steamboat era and Lake Coeur d'Alene today. We may see osprey, great blue herons, bald eagles and songbirds as your guides spin tales of the natural wonders in and around the lake. Maximum group size is 12.

At a Glance Duration: 4 Hours Intensity: Beginner Season: June - August Minimum Age: 4 Begins In: ROW Adventure Center - Coeur d'Alene Trip Highlights Kayaking is the best way to experience Lake Coeur d'Alene.   All afternoon kayaking trips depart the ROW Adventure Center at 1:00pm.  We ask that guests arrive early in order to meet your guide, get a quick orientation, and to fill out liability release forms. Liability release forms are required for all participants on any ROW Adventure.  Once all of our guests have arrived, we depart the ROW Adventure Center, and head to the water.  Before getting on the water, your guide will provide you with a complete safety orientation and also give basic instructions on how to paddle your kayak.

Directions to the ROW Adventure Center in Coeur d'Alene: The Coeur d'Alene ROW Adventure Center is located at 202 E. Sherman Avenue in downtown Coeur d'Alene, just one block north of the Coeur d'Alene Resort. We recommend parking your vehile at the Diamond Parking lot, located at 3rd and Front St. in Coeur d'Alene.  The ROW Adventure Center is just a short walk from this lot.
